Salsa Beyond The Chips!
Chips and salsa. They go together like chocolate and peanut butter. Although it’s undeniable they make a great combination, there are many ways to enjoy salsa beyond the chips.
Snack Time with Mama Flasch Salsa Beyond the Chips
When eating salsa as a snack, there are several alternatives for dipping beyond chips. Any sturdy vegetable will work and have fun experimenting! For example, common options are celery, sliced peppers, carrots, cucumber or zucchini. Other unique dipping vegetables include jicama, radicchio, broccoli or snap peas.
If you’re craving that extra crunch, but don’t want the salt and fat from nacho chips – try unsalted pretzels, pita slices or pita chips. You could even make your own chipsfrom kale, sweet potatoes or turnips.
